Terms of Service

Effective date: October 10, 2026. Site operator: CleanPCSetups, independently operated. Location/jurisdiction: Idaho, United States. Contact: [email protected].

The community and your agreement

CleanPCSetups.com is a community for sharing PC builds and desk setups and interacting through profiles, likes, saves and comments. These Terms govern your use of its account and community features. Registration requires agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, along with age confirmation and compliance with the Community Rules. The effective date is shown above.

Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, use the service with your parent or guardian’s permission and involvement where required by law. Provide an email address you control, keep your login secure and contact support if you suspect misuse. Do not impersonate others, create accounts to evade moderation or share someone else’s private information. The operator may restrict an account that cannot meet these requirements.

Your content remains yours

You retain ownership of the photographs, text and other material you contribute. By submitting it, you confirm you own it or have the permissions needed to share it, including permissions involving identifiable people and third-party rights. You grant CleanPCSetups a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, resize, display and distribute your chosen content within the website and its normal technical delivery, search, backups and moderation. This permission does not transfer ownership or grant an unrelated advertising or merchandise right.

Removing content and ending that permission

You can request removal of content or account closure at [email protected]. The display permission ends when the content is removed from the active service, except for limited copies reasonably needed in backups, moderation records, legal compliance or resolving disputes. We explain limitations when handling a request. Copies previously made by other people or search engines may remain outside our control. Public photographs and comments should not be treated as confidential.

Acceptable use

Follow the Community Rules. Do not post unlawful material, threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate images, private personal information, malicious code, spam, scams or infringing content. Do not fabricate genuine community submissions, misrepresent ownership, manipulate reactions, bypass access controls or interfere with the service. Keep promotional material disclosed and relevant; profile links do not authorize unsolicited advertising.

Moderation and appeals

Submissions and member comments may be reviewed before publication. We may request changes, decline a submission, hide/remove material or restrict accounts for rule violations, credible rights/privacy concerns or security reasons. We consider context and may act promptly when necessary. Report a concern through the setup’s report feature or [email protected]. To ask for review of a moderation decision, provide the relevant URL/account and an explanation by email. No fixed response deadline or guaranteed publication is promised in these Terms.

Copyright and other rights complaints

Send copyright concerns to [email protected] with the relevant setup or image URL, identification of your work, an explanation of the claimed unauthorized use, your name/contact information and your authority to act. For a formal copyright notice, include a physical or electronic signature, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act. Do not submit knowingly false claims. We may restrict material while reviewing a credible complaint and request further information. This support address is not represented as a registered DMCA agent. We do not claim a registered-agent process or statutory safe-harbor entitlement; formal agent designation would require a separate completed process.

Counter-notices and repeat infringement

If your material is removed for a rights complaint, contact support with the affected URL and why you believe the removal is mistaken. A formal DMCA counter-notice may require legal statements, contact/address information, consent to jurisdiction and disclosure to the claimant; we will identify the actual process and recipient before requesting such information. Do not send sensitive legal details through a public comment. Accounts with repeated or serious infringement may be restricted or terminated after review.

Build information and external links

Community hardware lists, prices and costs are submitted information, not automatic compatibility verification, professional advice or a guarantee of performance. Check manufacturer specifications and current retailer terms before spending money or modifying equipment. External creator/retailer sites operate independently. Actual affiliate relationships must be disclosed near relevant links; no affiliation, retailer availability or product testing is implied merely by listing a component.

Service limits and responsibility

The service may change, be interrupted or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided as available without a guarantee that submissions are accurate or that it will meet every need. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. No broad financial indemnity, forced arbitration or invented fixed liability cap is imposed by these Terms.

Account closure and applicable law

You may stop using the community and request account closure and associated content handling at [email protected]. The operator may restrict or close accounts as described above. These Terms use Idaho, United States, as the governing jurisdiction to the extent legally applicable, without taking away mandatory protections or court rights that apply where you live. CleanPCSetups is the public name of the independently operated service; no registered company or LLC is represented.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and notice where appropriate. If new agreement is required, it will be requested before applying the change to the relevant use. Questions about these Terms, accounts or moderation may be sent to [email protected].
